Congratulations to the 28 or so of our Brotherhood that acquired/renewed their CPR/AED certifications today.

We had a great turnout for our first CPR certification course in several years.  At the very least, we'll be doing these courses every couple of years to keep certifications current.

If the page looks a little different to you, there's a reason.

As part of what we hope will be a new membership management system, we're using a new content management system which can be accessed by all of the EC to help keep things fresh and current.  We on the EC are all very excited about the new system and the improvements it brings to us in handling both membership information and our website.

You may have noticed the login boxes over to the left.  That login will eventually allow all of us to log on to update membership information like contact information, roster info, and play preferences. Don't start logging in just yet, though - we're waiting on the service to release their next update which will offer a higher level of security.  We'll let you know once this has been implemented, meantime, please continue to contact Matt D., our membership chair to update your contact information.

Also upcoming, the ability to handle your membership renewals online, saving everyone the time of doing a paper-based mailing - don't worry, the new system will remind you (several times, actually) when it's time to renew. Finally, we'll be able to host the roster online behind a password secured members only wall, ensuring that you have the most current information available.

This new system is incredibly robust and offers a wealth of features to help us make our website a truly useful tool not only for visitors and guests, but for our members.  If there are functionalities you'd like to see on the website, please let us know.. if it's available, we'll add it in.

It's always great when local groups come together to create a great event.  This past weekend's Leather Knights AWOL was no exception!

Our brothers in the Leather Knights showed several of us a great time, and we were able to show many of their attendees a great time at our monthly Bar Night and Play Party.

We served our official club cocktail, Paddler's Punch at the Poolside Cocktail Party on Saturday night, and, while we didn't take home the trophy for Best Cocktail this year, it was great to hear several guys tell us they were hoping we'd be there with "that really great drink you guys serve".

Thanks, guys, for a REALLY FUN weekend!
